Our Pharmaceutical Pail Services are ideally suited for physicians offices, nursing homes and patient-care facilities generating small to medium quantities of pharmaceutical waste.
MCF is able to provide not only the supply of a DOT approved 2.5 Gallon Locking Lid Pail labelled and ready for use, but also formulary review for correct identification of hazardous pharmaceuticals, and Pail Waste Pickup and Disposal services.
1. Pharmaceutical Waste Pails
- MCF will deliver a pail to your site complete with labels
- Place all pharmaceutical waste – Hazardous & Non-Hazardous medications, into the same container
- Must not be used for regulated medical waste or DEA controlled substances
- $50 for initial Pail delivery
2. Pail Collection Services
- MCF will schedule, transport and dispose of your container
- No minimum shipments required
- No monthly or annual fees
- All necessary documentation provided by MCF to keep you in compliance
- All pharmaceutical waste will be incinerated at a licensed hazardous waste incinerator
- $225 for Pail Pickup and Disposal Service
